Wellness Exams
Prevention is the key to keeping your pet healthy! Boulevard Veterinary Group recommends all pets get a complete physical examination at least once a year. During an exam, your pet will thoroughly be examined to evaluate its physical fitness. Why is a complete physical exam beneficial to your pet? Because, the information the doctor gathers during an exam allows him to diagnose any potential health problems and solve them before they become too difficult and expensive to treat. Establishing a history and health database for your pet gives us the opportunity to effectively treat your animal.Vaccines
Vaccinations are a key aspect of your pet's preventive health care. Serious airborne diseases and diseases introduced to your pet through sniffing and licking are now easily preventable.Yearly booster vaccines are recommended for all pets after they have received their initial series of puppy and kitten vaccinations. Rabies vaccines are required by law and are administered once every three years after the initial vaccine is given at 5-6 months of age.
Parasite Prevention and Control
Parasites can be harmful to both your pet and your family. Fleas, ticks and internal parasites can be transmitted from animals to a human host. Prevention is the key to effectively keep both you and your pet healthy.
